Israel seems to be moving closer to a Middle East showdown with Iran, as it has just engaged Iran’s proxy, Syria, with military force for the second day in a row. Israel’s IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) ‘neutralized’ Syrian targets in Syria after mortars were fired from Syria in the direction of Israel. The Israeli military says it scored “direct hits” on targets in Syria after responding to stray mortar fire from its northern neighbor.

The biggest risk is that Israel will decide at some point to militarily act (significant action that is) with little or no counsel by our part.
