That goes both ways. Both are equally as useless without the other.

I'd strongly disagree with that. Sure, guns help, but they're not nearly as important as free thinking. There's a reason the first step in strong government control is typically limiting free thinking.

What is a greater threat to an authoritarian regime, free flowing info (the internet) or guns? We see attempts to regulate both, thoughts?

Tough choice but probably free flowing information. Guns are tools which cannot be used without thoughts. Ideas are most important.
