I doubt even Republicans take them seriously. Moderate Republicans in hard conservative districts have to because they are their competitors; but as the fiscal cliff recedes and Obama starts to balance the budget, they will become totally irrelevant.
The arose in an era which was exceptional. That era is passing. They will soon have nothing to gripe about let alone a hold on Republican voters.
Unlike OWS, whose ambition to achieve a fairer distribution of wealth is light years away.
Statistics show that average Americans have lost a massive share of what wealth they had in the last 4 years while the rich (like Romney) have increased theirs. This battle is still on and will be the one to watch.
