There will be no type of good world government. For all the flaws the nationalists of certain countries have, this is a fight they need to win. I don't really want to share the same laws and cultures as the third world and Europe.

Perhaps you, with your deep-seeded Maxistist materialism, worship money along with power, but please don't project that onto "we."
Marxist materialism is an oxymoron. I feel like I am speaking in tongues.

Marxism is a materialist philosophy in every sense of the word. Not sure what you are trying to get at.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

We have separate cultures and nations because in the past we were separated by distance. We are no longer separated. The world has contracted because of technology. You are microseconds away from any person anywhere. Our cultures are blending whether you like it or not.

America and Americans don't have the same cultures and morals of, say, the Saudis or even most European countries. And it will probably stay that way. A world government will force incompatible laws and the like. Nations are the way to go.

No, they're not blending and you would be horrified if they did. Again, genuine diversity isn't an Iranian festival in Toronto where you get to play Iranian for an afternoon. Diversity is being snuffed out and you prefer it that way.

If you truly liked diversity, Dr. Who, you would champion the success of real communities, peoples and nations. Let them all bloom. The truth is...you despise it.
I enjoy different cultures, but I am not so naive as to believe that they can be artificially preserved. That is up to individuals. The world is changing as it has always changed. You cannot put a period and say - no more change. It will either change for the better or for the worse, but it will change whether you like it or not.

They would be fine without your aggression toward them. Your diversity is fraudulent. You hate difference. Just want to make sure we're clear on that.

From time to time you really have to engage Dr. Who to get behind the smokescreen of her rhetoric. She is very much for the status quo (i.e. Western hegemony).

Technology is making those separations less and less viable. Arab spring is the result of technology. The old will eventually give way to the young who have very different priorities and tolerances.
