Thumbs up Rice To Sec. State - Kerry To Def Sec.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...702a_blog.html

“President Obama is considering asking Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) to serve as his next defense secretary, part of an extensive rearrangement of his national security team that will include a permanent replacement for former CIA director David H. Petraeus. Although Kerry is thought to covet the job of secretary of state, senior administration officials familiar with the transition planning said that nomination will almost certainly go to Susan E. Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.”

That's what I'm saying. The Senate is the only thing that would hold him back, and I doubt they'll do it if it comes down to it.

It won't matter, the GOP won't like anyone Obama chooses, therefore I say ... Screw Them!

Its origin has been embedded in this nation’s consciousness since the Nat Turner revolt; a pathological fear that the oppressed will one day rise up and inflict vengeance upon the oppressor.

The senate confirmation just takes a simple majority, the Dems have the majority, they're in if the Dems agree.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Everyone is ignoring the elephant in the room - Hillary. During the election Obama had one of those 'dear in the headlights' moments when asked about CMrs. Clinton staying on. The was a public indication, in the middle of an election, that support costs and the cost of Billary's was SOSUS.
So, if Rice comes in? As in Condie Rice.....ummmm, there would be, shall we say, a severe ripple if now tsunami in the party and culminating in the Senate. And remember who owns that Senate: Bill and Hillary.

I don't think POTUS wants to play in that sandbox unless he's got a much more rewarding sandbox for the Clintons.

    Susan Rice. Not Condie.

I think Hillary wants a couple years of R&R
