Cool Youth Vote Gap Suggests Republicans Risk Losing An 'Entire Generation' To Democrats

Looks like that tent is getting really small ...

Instead, voters ages 18 to 29 -- who made up 19 percent of the electorate, a greater share than in 2008, and half of whom cast a ballot, for the third presidential election in a row -- went for Obama by 60 percent to 36 percent for Romney.

Now Republicans are faced with a grim premise as they look toward the future, with a much more racially diverse and socially liberal young voter base that supports Democrats by a large margin.

Just wait until the reality of the job market sinks in.
Then we can tell them that they rejected a man with decades of successes in both the public and private sectors and instead went with a man that got fired from his job of scooping ice cream.
Benghazi was obama's proverbial '3AM phone call'.
    And, he failed miserably.

You gotta admit, though, he's proven himself in the selling of snow(job) cones!

Yeah, let's see. Half the college kids have no jobs, probably a goodly portion of the other half are waiting tables or slinging burgers, a big bunch of them have college debt they haven't a snowball's chance in hell of ever repaying, their condition has worsened steadily over the last four years and they voted for four more of the same.

And you wonder why some of us refer to them as the "stupid young."

If your young and haven't voted Democrat you haven't lived - if your old and haven't voted Republican you haven't grown up.

This is a old number since the 70s. Republicans still won 3 elections in a row in the 80s and two Bush terms in 2000s.

The danger for Democrats here is they are becoming complacent. Republicans just need to work on their message as if you read the exit polls people sighted republicans points more than Democrats but they still voted for Obama even though he stands against what they said they wanted issue by issue.

Republicans made a huge push for Jewish voters in 2012 and made huge gains. http://www.therightperspective.org/2...jewish-voters/

Can you try typing that again without someone's cock in your mouth?

I think Cigar is counting on these kids never growing up and maturing. Most will. Some won't and they can stay with the "gimme" crowd.

The young morons don't realize Obama's economic policies hurt them the most. The rich will still be rich.

Once these kids start to pay federal income taxes they will start waking up.
