Robert E. Lee was a traitor to the United States of America and he was a poor military leader of the South, He was a savage person to the slave families and individuals. Robert E Lee is the heritage of the United States, as is General Grant, Lincoln, Washington, Custer, Sitting Bull, Roosevelt, Martin Luther King and Kennedy. They all for good or ill played their part in the forming, the changing, the life and history of the US. Going round destroying statues is infantile at best, evil at worst.
