There's a claim he was a Tea Party supported--not member--but no substantiation.
There's a claim he had a Tea Party Nation web site but TPN was founded by Shelby County, Tennessee assistant district attorney Judson Phillips. It's a social networking site, thus not even that is part of the movement.
