Nonsense. The US has embroiled itself (and thus the deluded and confused Australians) in the self-interests of Taiwan, Japan, the Phillipines and gods know who else.

Any one of which could spark a war with China.

Come sit down beside me I said to myself
And although it doesn't make sense
I held my own hand as a small sign of trust
And together I sat on the fence

Meanwhile, we sensibly still ban your navy from entering our ports.

But I see the Australians now don't.

Actually that's your (NZ) lose not ours.

The USN neither gains nor loses anything.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

All we lose is the risk of nuclear explosions in our harbours.

I would have thought that was a good idea.

You lose a member for your coalition of the killing.

Yea that's why NZ sent troops and some navy to fight the Taliban.

BTW if you're attacked by the bad guys we'll be there regardless of y'alls leftist non-nuclear ideology.

We are far more interested in yuan than Yankee dollars. They're Chinese, you know.

We sent troops to fight al Qaeda.

Somehow we were sucked into your ludicrous plot. Most Kiwis want us out of there, like years ago.

No arguments, but 'nuclear explosions in our harbors" is a stupid remark.

BTW do y'all let the Chinese navy berth at your harbors ??

Not sure they have a navy. Oh yeah, one aircraft carrier.

Have you ever had a nuclear explosion in one of your harbours? Like Long Island for example?

But the point is that you guys attract terrorists like flies. For good reason.

Why should we want to do that too?

Fine, stay in your cocoon, but if we (US) go down you won't be far after if you're even still around.

Until moderate Islam (if there is such a thing) reclaims their religion, the war is world wide whether you like it or not.

While just about every other country on the planet has to worry about terrorists (whether Islamic or American), we are far enough away not to have to. Added to which, we don't go out of our way to piss Muslims, or anyone else, off.

No-one to my knowledge has ever been arrested for terrorist activity in NZ except a few natives (Maoris) playing silly war games in the hills. They were acquitted.

Oops, I forget. Kim Dotcom was arrested by Swat squads, which included the FBI, for terrorising Hollywood. But he was released because everyone thought terrorising Hollywood was actually a good idea.
