That's progress.
Agreed. Of course, I would oppose it in whatever state I live in. You might support it. That's the way our country was set up. The 10th Amendment covers it pretty well.
An articulate and reasonable position. Congrats on being NRA, btw. Good organization.
I feel bad for some of them, too, but hardship is no excuse for breaking the law. Get in line like everyone else.
Agreed. You want one? You pay for it, both financially and with a lifetime of guilt. I know a number of women who had abortions when young and only the most calloused and emotionally damaged refuse to admit the regret.
If you rape and kill children, you should be put to death. Disagree?
I'm for equal rights for all.
The fundamental principals of our Constitution are timeless. It's like the Ten Commandments.

I disagree with the state putting anyone to death. Too often it is inhumane, and it is too often if even one is innocent. If you could guarentee a painless death (impossible) and guarentee guilt (also impossible) I would probably still be opposed to it, but on a moral basis rather than a rational one.
I do support certain economic policies that might be considered more liberal than average. I believe in regulation in that regard. I supported Glass-Steagall, for example. But then, I support lowering the corporate tax rate to 15% - the same as Canada. The fact it has been at 35% is mind boggling.
In terms of government, I think it is too inefficient. It has nothing to do with size, although it is probably too large. But it is the blatant inefficiency at places like the FDA, IRS, and similar agencies that drives me a bit bonkers. Americans are not getting what they're paying for, and they are paying a lot. Same thing with education. It could be done better for less money if there were accountability.
