“Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured…but not everyone must prove they are a citizen. And now, any of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens.”

Allow me to refresh your memory. From post #118, in which, as you can see at the link, you were speaking specifically to me:Abby wrote:
If you don't remember saying anything about women's rights, go back and read what you said.
"Women's rights? What right, specifically, do you want, that you currently don't have? You have the right to kill your unborn child, if you choose, even right up to the time of birth, you have access to contraception, often times, free of charge (to YOU), you have the right to put on a uniform and go serve your country, whether or not, you can cut it, you have the same access to education, jobs, as any man......what, do you want, that you currently do not have?"
You then went on to explain my "anti-American" qualities. And in post #119 (i.e. the next post on the thread), you had this additional commentary:
"I'm adding...... today's young women, $#@!in'about their rights, have no idea how many more rights they have than, say, women of my generation. I'm a product of the late 50's, 60's and, 70's, today's women don't know just how good they have it. But, it isn't enough.
Can any young woman today, right now, name one 'right' they've lost, when Trump took office.....just one?"
Think what you will about my politics, but know that I am not a liar.
Contextually, I had not brought up the subject of women's rights on this thread that I can recall or that I can see in scanning my OP or my more recent posts preceding post #118. That seems to have been something you just volunteered.

Polly, you also, at one point said, you don't know of any names the right are called by the left.....then, in another post, you said, of all the names that are used, you dislike, "Trumpkin" the least. So, maybe, it's all a matter of a bad memory.

You are misreading my comments deliberately in order to create a caricature in your own mind. In reality, what I suggested on "The Butthurt Thread" that you reference was that what we might call rightspeak is far more common on this message board than what we might call leftspeak. Of course I see "Trumpkin" and whatnot from time to time, mostly on my Facebook feed. The particular terms that Chris referenced, on the other hand, I have never seen used on this message board at all. In fact, I have never even heard of the term "Teatard" before. Of course, I haven't been here every day for the last five years that I've been a member and certainly don't visit every thread, so I could've missed something.Abby wrote:

I see that you are referencing this post. I had forgotten all about it in the three weeks it's now been since I made it. In any event, here is exactly how the pertinent exchange reads:You brought up women's rights on page 11.
Adelaide: What do you consider basic issues? Because I would wager they are serious issues that would have a very diverse response from different members of the left.
Me: Well my two eternal pet issues are economic inequality and women's rights, but I apply circumstantial nuance as well. For example, the issue of white nationalism is the most important issue to be confronting at this time, given recent (and current!) events in this country, I believe. And I believe that the left can broadly agree on some basics regarding all of those things, incidentally.
I'm not sure that passing reference, especially in the context of answering someone else's question directed toward me, actually constitutes 'bringing up' the subject, but okay, we'll have it your way.
The ranting I quoted was you. I quoted directly from your posts in the italics. I do that sometimes out of an aversion to creating confusion by filling up a post with quotation boxes.I don't know what the hell the ranting is about.
Some pretty good ranting coming from you, too, in the op.......but, in both of our defense, this IS the, RANT forum, so, we're both covered.

I agree!Abby wrote:

You are too. As long as we stayed away from politics, I suspect we can get along just fine.Abby wrote:
See? We can agree on things! Lol..... you're a good "kid" Polly.
