Exclamation Dick Morris Admits he made stuff up to lift GOP morale

"I think that there was a period of time when the Romney campaign was falling apart, people were not optimistic, nobody thought there was a chance of victory and I felt that it was my duty at that point to go out and say what I said."

-- Dick Morris, in an interview on Fox News, explaining why he predicted a landslide for Mitt Romney in the presidential election.

Battle of the Bulge. Germans last glorious offensive, before utter failure.

Wow, Dick Morris is more honest than Cigar or President Obama. How pitiful that is. Has anyone on MSNBC made any admissions of daily lying? Certainly not the moderate, middle-of-the-road Chris Mathews with the tingly little middle leg.

no fan of Morris but this OP is a bunch of horse$#@!, the quote Posted above omits Morris's last comment in the quote.. and in the article the last comment is conveniently not bolded like the rest of the quote, the comment left out is.. "and at the time I said it, I believe I was right", which means he was not making $#@! up, but believed what he was saying. am all for exploring 2 sides to every story, but you can't be serious here..

You obviously don't understand the libspeak defintion of lying. When President Obama says he's bipartisan, post-racial, and an American he isn't lying. I love the long, long list of liberal euphemisms used by the media to avoid saying a liberal lied. My favorite is probably misspoke. That's libspeak for, "The dumb $#@! shouldn't have said that."

That the same Chris Mathews who said he forgot Obama was black because he was speaking so eloquently?

Lying by omission is Cigar's stock in trade. He really does resemble our POS POTUS.
