In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.

So no, you didn't vote for him. Interesting that he's not living up to your expectations, given that fact. I voted for him. I voted for the guy who gave that speech in Arizona. I am very satisfied with him so far. I like his demeanor. It's refreshing. Polished? Rehearsed? Perfect? Nope. Honest? Yes. I think a lot of people don't get his personality, either on purpose because they have a manipulative political agenda, or by accident because they've never dealt with someone like that on a personal level. I assume you are of the latter group.

A President doesn't create legislation.
If Trump can undo many of the EOs implemented by Obama and convince the Congress to repeal Obamacare, and get at least one more Justice on the Supreme Court, he will have been a success. You would never admit that, but it would be a fact, nonetheless.

I can understand the "immature outburst" thing. He often interrupts his own speeches with those un-artful comments. Sometimes they make me laugh, other times cringe.
I viewed Obama as a Manchurian candidate type. He was an incompetent and vapid boob who was completely led by the ideology of the puppet masters who created him.
Whenever Obama spoke he seemed to be overacting in calm disjointed words from a page or teleprompter. He seemed to check each word before speaking them. It gave me a feeling of untruthful intent. I just did not believe his words and he was hard on the ears unless you were one of his fans swept up in, "OMG! a black dude is our leader. Utopia is achievable!". Hype drummed-up by an empty suit IMO.
When President Trump speaks ad-lib or on script, a tone of honesty not seen since Reagan comes through. I am biased in that I support the guy and his policies. He is the Un-President to steal an old 7-Up soda ad tag-line. It is refreshing, and admittedly embarrassing at times. I can't wait for the next 7 1/2 years of Trump.

The problem, with Obama's speeches were, they were TOO practiced, too polished and, too precise. They weren't, off the cuff, from the heart, therefore, they lacked real substance, they came across as.....just, words, unfelt words. People may have wanted to believe those words, because of the spit and polish, but, in the end, they were still lies only, tied up in a big, beautiful bow.
Trump, now, is a loud mouth, that's no secret, he says things he shouldn't, he goes off on tangents.....but, if some people don't mind being lied to, because, it's done eloquently, I'd rather hear the truth, being told to me, crudely.
