I'm only a Christian in name, and I'm not sure what I believe about God, but despite the things you have said about me, I don't bear you any ill-will, and if prayers and well wishing will do any good, I will certainly pray for your wife.

I hope tomorrow, and the days after, see a full recovery for Christine, and I'm sorry you are going through this.

There is no need for thanks, my friend. Even though we may disagree on many things, I would be less of a human being if I did not have sympathy for you, and wish your wife well, in this difficult time. I also realise that it must be painful for you to make your private situation public in this manner, and I'm not sure I would have the guts to do that. I am glad that your belief in Christ brings you comfort at this difficult time, and I think that is the great strength of religious belief. My mum is religious and it seems to help her in difficult times - like when I was young, I was very sick and it seems the doctors were shaking their heads, but my mum is convinced her prayers are what did the trick.

Thank you AZ Jim, this last week has not been very easy. TPF has helped me keep from going crazy, I really cant do $#@!, Fl does not recognize common law marriage and her estranged sister has taken on herself to be the sole contact.

I heard from the brother that the sister thinks that we have been together for 3 years, lol try 8. How the hell does she get dominion?

Who was always there for her? I was, her sister has not talked to her for 5 minutes in 20 years.

Imagine being told by an ICU nurse that the "family" (her estranged sister) says she has no husband. A $#@!ing stranger on a phone that is trying to invalidate 8 years of our life? Did you ever want to reach thru a phone, before?

Meanwhile, her other 7 siblings that are not estranged, know that I love her and would lay down my life for her.

I make this public appeal for prayers, I believe in the power of #'s. I also believe in karma.

Those that would use this to belittle my family are subhuman scum, there karma is due. So be it.

That's just awful. I'm so sorry that you are being shut out. When she recovers you should either legally marry or go to a lawyer and have you appointed her legal power of attorney in the event that she is unable to make decisions and her legal next of kin.

That is the plan, everyone in the family is glad we are together, but her one sister, she is a born again type that is better than everyone, I have been with her sister 8 years, one TXT MSG after the surgery "I hope you feel better"

It would not surprise me to find out that she has a life insurance policy with out Christines knowledge.

I talked to her brother, he told me that the other siblings wont allow her to have her way.

I may start Monday on a concrete crew in Sarasota (50 miles) we will split fuel cost, he is a friend that is helping me get the job. I have a friend that knows my dire condition with my wife in the ICU with a life threatening brain infection (post surgical complications)

I have basically been her live in caretaker for 8 years. I don't know if she will pull thru (only GOD knows)

This whole thing is so $#@!ed up, the hospital sent her home without antibiotics after a major surgery. I believe it is malpractice.

I am going to visit her again tomorrow, when she wakes up, she is irrational and rips out IV's and must be sedated.

I will sit there tomorrow until she wakes up and I hope I can get thru to her. Please pray for us, her name is Christine.

Great news, her brother in ID. just called me and said the infection is clearing up. We shall see what tomorrow brings.
