Never Taught In Our Pubic Schools. A Time When More Slaves In The Americas Were White

As I have mentioned; the documented fact, there was a time in the Americas when most slaves were white; but a fact that our public schools avoid teaching. Any comments? I'm guessing if it were taught, it may somehow level the field; and we know that's something our liberals avoid like the plague. Just my opinion. Please, not the indentured servant reply. That got very old a long long time ago. They were slaves.

I'm inclined to be a bit ( OK, alot ) outspoken; and it has actually gotten me banned from other forums. Must be the truth thing that upsets people.

Anything goes here, this board doesn't have the sense to toss the real trolls. It does, however, have an excellent ignore feature.

Nothing outspoken about your first thread, however. You do know I was being facetious? You're absolutely right that indentured service was a form of slavery.

Maybe we white folks should be asking for reparations too.

I know I had Irish ancestors who were slaves. Does that mean I can cry the blues and get reparations from England? From what I have been exposed to ( seen taught in our public schools ) concerning slavery, it appears the only slaves in the entire history of the planet, were blacks on white owned southern American plantations.

Isn't indentured service still alive and well? For example, any mortgage application demands your committment for up to 30 years, but what job/business situation can be guaranteed to keep pumping uninterrupted for 30 years? At least 100 years ago, you didn't need a mortgage to get a house, and you didn't need to pay astronomical permit/inspection/license fees to get a plot to build on. And not your every step was constantly tracked by a centralized credit monitor or a centralized other monitor.

My grandfather bought a house (kit) from Sears for $2500 and put it up himself.

Very wise, too bad most people are manipulated away from doing these kinds of things in today's world.

Yes, in the early days many Whites were indentured servants. Their passage to America (the colonies) was paid by someone here and they paid it off working for them for a period of time. I was taught that in the mid 1960s in elementary school. White slavery wasn't mentioned that I can recall. Perhaps the organized teaching movement was covering it up already?

Ah yes, Indentured Servants : Whenever they rebelled or even disobeyed an order, they were punished in the harshest ways. Slave owners would hang their human property by their hands and set their hands or feet on fire as one form of punishment. They were burned alive and had their heads placed on pikes in the marketplace as a warning to other captives.
