    Yes you can boil water if you have the heat source. You can also use bleach (not a lot) and I have a box of "pills" to add to water you are not sure of.

    I use uv light. It works great.

    I have two camp stoves. And much propane. Two/three cases. Several larger tanks. But I've no food. Reckon I need to start stockin some dehydrated foods? Seeds?

    There are lots of options for food. Dehydrated it probably the best for long term storage since you have water and a heat source.
