I ate spam once spit it out, it has enough cholesterol fat, nitrates and salt to kill a mule

If im going to eat meat whos origin I cant identify or its contents, Ill eat bologna aka baloney, jumbo whatever you want to call it.

Now having said I did not like spam, I have eaten and liked Kiszka which for most would be far worse, its Polish blood sausage, duck blood I believe

I can easily go off and stay off the electrical grid. I store canned goods but they are all shrink wrapped and kept in a cool and dry place. I've eaten spam and other things that are 10 years old with no ill effect. Any lost taste can be compensated for with seasonings and spice.

And then some. I have one 100kw and two 10kw towers. Just that, without solar, I can power my operations off the grid. The generators, all the peripherals plus installation, cost....over $30,000. Now, you can do this for about half the price if you buy residential quality. I did research on the air speed here not only from records but actual testing for about a year. I own and operate my own "cold storage" building (cash only) which is both secure and requires steady power.

Canned goods last way longer than the date. I bet spam could go 20 years. I am sitting on a case of expired MRE's. Still edible.

MREs can go bad, but it is easy to tell. The bags inflate.

I love kiszka - we always just called it buckwheat sausage, but it was made with pig's blood and buckwheat. You have to fry it well. Some places stick liver in it, which spoils the flavor, IMO.

Spam is something I ate a couple of times as a child, but the texture is pretty gross and if you fry it, it just becomes very salty. You can get canned ham, which IMO is much better than Spam. It's a bit salty, but at least it's an actual piece of meat.

"Jerky" also has a very long shelf life. I make it myself. I have an old fashion smoker oven use. It's hooked up in my barn. Beef, pork, venison...even chicken.

MRE's aren't even edible BEFORE the expiration date!...... that's some of the nastiest tasting stuff I've ever had.
