    Spam

So we buy Spam every now and then. Used to make it for the kids a long time ago, started buying it for camping breakfasts, Spam and eggs. The low salt stuff, the regular stuff is a salt bomb.

So I got some chorizo Spam and garlic Spam, made the chorizo stuff with (leftover) grilled onions and peppers, cheese and eggs and wrapped it in soft tortilla shells for breakfast this morning. Wow, was that good. The chorizo isn't spammy, totally different taste and texture. Not salty at all either.

Chorizo is greasy, I grill it to done done and it's pretty good.

We'll get canned corned beef for eggs sometimes if it's on sale but that other stuff I've never tried. The canned corned beef is like from Venezuela, I don't want to know how that's made.

You probably don't want to know how any canned meat products are made!

A wartime cultural hangover. They grew rather fond of it, I don't mind a bit fried with runny eggs, but for what it is, it is kinda pricy and as noted, LOADED with salt!
