You can actually thank politicians for that. They tried to solve a non-problem with legislation. If they wanted to attack a small, very small, minority of people they could have done so a million ways that might have actually been legitimate somehow. Instead, it seems to have convinced every moron in the country that transgender individuals want to molest your children. You never even knew they already used your washrooms and we don't hear stories of all the children they have molested... so why the legislation?

Prior to that, it was a fairly superficial issue in terms of exposure to the public. Manning wanted hormones and Jenner made the switch. People either agreed or didn't and it was not as big an issue as it became after the NC bathroom fiasco.
That tends to be what politicians do. Driven by emotion, they seek any solution without considering consequences, and just create more problems, as is the case here.

I agree but it wasnt a politician problem it was an Obama problem he did it all on his own
