Sorry @leekohler2 you and I can look at the irrefutable DNA evidence of the same transsexual and you will ignore it and I will state the obvious.

BTW, Paglia is judging no one, she too is stating the obvious.

A non indoctrinated 10 year old could come to this very obvious conclusion.

Sorry hanger4, but neither you nor that armchair pontificator understand what it means to be transgender. Get to know someone who is, it'll be the best education you could get. Try it, you'll probably have a different opinion of trans folks after. If more people shut their traps and listened to people they don't understand have to say, the world might be a better place.

In the interview I posted, post 12, she is defending the avant garde of the 60s against its take over by postmodernists following French philosophers like Jacques Derrida and Michel Foucault. It's the postmodernists who introduced identity politics to the left.

You sound like some of the university students we see these days telling people to just shut up so they can blather on about next to nothing like their feelings.

Liberal Camille Paglia: Transgender Surgery 'Can't Change Anyone's Sex' -- DNA is Set

Liberal Camille Paglia, an academic, best selling author, and public intellectual, said there are "a lot of lies being propagated" about the transgender issue, with "wildly inflated claims" about gender and the false idea that sex-reassignment surgery can change someone's sex. It cannot, said Paglia, who added that people who encourage transgenderism in children are committing "child abuse."
“I think that the transgender propagandists make wildly inflated claims about the multiplicity of gender," said Paglia during an interview on Roda Viva Internacional.

Oh damn, now she'll be black balled as the ultra libs don't tolerate any non party approved opinions. Especially opinions based upon science and fact.

I have gotten to know a few transgender people over the years. As much as I try, I still can't wrap my head around the idea of chopping off body parts. I treat them as I would anybody else though, but that does not mean that I have to suspend reality or science to do so. You are born either a male or a female. You're DNA determines that, and no surgery in the world can change your DNA. Furthermore, my tax dollars should not be used for elective surgeries, no matter what it is. Laziks, boob job, tummy tuck, gender reassignment... all elective.
