They would probably like shrimp chips. I first encountered them in Australia in '71. Pretty sure they are available here now. Interesting flavor.

Seagulls are notorious bandits, they will swoop down and take food out of your hand. If you are on a boardwalk its not uncommon for a whole flock of them to be hovering and flappingg and zooming in to grab food. If you throw it on the boards a food fight will ensue. I dont know of anyone being hurt by seagulls and they dont bite or claw you but they will $#@! on you and repeatedly if you dont get out of the way
