The Chicago Bears unexpectedly beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Chicago today. Not only was their win unexpected, but it was also a strong one. Tariq Cohen, a Bears rookie (fourth round 2017 draft), continues to shine in his role as a supporting RB. This dude's acceleration and vision are simply amazing. He would have had the game-winning TD on an approximately 60 yard run if the refs hadn't called him out of bounds about twenty or thirty yards into the run. One could make an argument that it was a bad call. But the Bears did not let the call hamper them. They persevered and still won the game. That is the mark of a mentally strong team. If the Bears can form an identity around their first and third games, they might actually make a playoff run. But as their second game showed, they have some serious weaknesses that can be exploited.

Meanwhile, my Titans just beat the $#@!ing Seahawks.

    Good times.

One of the reasons the NFL is declining in popularity is the homer calls by the officiating crews. Home field advantage doesn't mean that a home team should receive favorable treatment from the officials.

I have season tickets to the Seattle Seahawks. They have been in my family since their first season. I just can't get jazzed up to attend the games any more. It's a hassle to get over to Seattle on game day. I put my name jackets on stub hub now. They are $148.00 a seat. Two seats. I just got $400.00 each for my two tickets. Preseason tickets are the same price. I've sold enough now that it has paid for the entire seasons worth of tickets.

Ill be leaving for my Mexican home in three weeks, so I'm selling all my all my tickets this year. That will pay for my seats next year too.

I've attended one game and that game sucked, even though Seattle won.

Just checked in with the Chicago / New Orleans game. That call saying the Chicago TD catch was an incomplete pass was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. The official who made that call should be downgraded and be retrained. The replay guys who failed to correct it should be fired.

Plus the receiver was blatantly interfered with on the play. The fact that there was a no call on that was nearly as agregious.

    That call was beyond absurd.
