I think we need to scrub our foreign aid budget and cut all out that does not serve US interests. The money saved can be spent in the US or given back to the tax payer.

Foreign aid is a good way to foster positive relationships with other nations and to show some charity for some other places.

There is some foreign aid going places it should not, and that should definitely be pulled. But, foreign aid is a necessary aspect of international diplomacy.

It would be different, if those countries actually appreciated it, they take and take, nothing changes, then they have their hands out again.

Foreign aid should be put on hold until we have a zero homeless population, until we have no hungry citizens.....if we have billions to send to foreign countries, we should be using it to help our own.

No, I think Rand Paul's proposal was a good start. Identifying fatty and wasteful foreign aid and temporarily stopping it so it can be redirecting to US needs. While they're identifying the aid Rand Paul highlighted they should expand the review and look at all foreign aid. It's time to review, revise and reject foreign aid that is not directly beneficial to the US.
