Clean up crews clearing roads do not need to stop every 30 seconds to let a car go by.

Emergency responders everywhere in fla were SPREAD SO THIN it was an impossiblity to deal with traffic and sightseers when they were trying to recover right after a huge storm.

THere were police at gas stations all over fla wasting time making those cars move, They were waiting in lines all night long, fights were breaking out and stations being damaged. The police spread thin had to do deal with too many things at once. The curfew made it much easier to find survivors and get everything cleared so people could drive to work safely.

If you want to see the extent of the looting do some searchs and read some articles.

Those curfews had nothing to do with big govt ruining your life, it had everything to do with protecting the majority of citizens and getting their lives back in some order

I live in America. I'n SUPPOSED to assume that everyone has rights! Also it's not always big government , municipalities can be even worse when given too much power by the fearful. You can close the roads if you wish. But you have no damn right to tell an adult what time to be home by. You just don't.

I think it is very reasonable for the state to limit alcohol sales during an emergency.

It goes back to prepping. If you run out you didn't prepare.

As part of my preparedness kit I investigated dark beers that taste good warm. I tried more than two dozen. I did not find any that fit the bill for less than ten dollars per bottle. I opted for ibuprofen instead.

My plan called for one bottle per day per adult for 30 days. I have enough wine to last for more than a year at two glasses per adult per day.

It should go back to priorities. If you run out of alcohol in an emergency it shouldn't matter that much to you. However, it does risk withdrawal for some, which can be very serious. Especially with a taxed EMS and medical system.

I could see a curfew the first night, alarms at retail stores all over town going off, I bet police don't respond to them.
