Private sector vs government: The humor version

PRIVATE SECTOR VS GOVERNMENT: THE HUMOR VERSION argues

I’ve made very serious (and hopefully substantive) arguments about why small government and free markets are the recipe for prosperity.

Simply stated, profit and loss is a powerful feedback mechanism, and entrepreneurs and business owners who want to make money face constant pressure to attract consumers by offering better products at affordable prices.

And you can't pursue failed policy for 40 years in the public sector or you go broke. In the public sector you simply borrow ridiculous sums of money to fund failure forever.

Failure in the public sector simply means you didn't throw smart enough people or enough of other people's money at it. Increase the budget!

As with the wars on drugs and poverty. They don't even try truly new tactics in the face of abject failure
