Why Be A Democrat?

Its exactly what the election said, close to 3 million people were told their votes didn't matter.

No one who understands out electoral system believes that.

What are the character traits you would see in a child, or a teenager, that says "Yep. He's a future Democrat".

For those already a Democrat, why do you remain a Democrat?

I'm liberal on most social issues,a fiscal moderate and a bit hawkish on defense/national security. Sometimes it's a hard fit for me in the Democratic Party. With it's position on socioeconomic issues and tethering to the Evangelical Right,there is no fit for me in the GOP. The libertarians with Gary Johnson and Greens with Jill Stein are just out there.
