Just because something hasn't been proven does not mean it is based on faith. Proof is something that only applies within the context of pure mathematics. Science, on the other hand, seeks evidence, not proof. And anarchism has plenty of evidence to support its overall conceptual framework.

I'm not an atheist, but if I were one and I was trying to rationalize secular humanist principles, I would do so on the basis of evolutionary theory. Because without a divine origin for moral principles, one would have to find their source in nature.

For only about 2% of man's existence has the state existed. How did we ever manage to survive 197000 some years without your dearly beloved state?

That is exactly right. We see this tendency from the very beginnings of statehood. In fact, the attempt to separate divinity from statehood is only a very recent phenomenon within the context of civilization. However, the residual influences of divine rulership still remain in the ostensibly secular governing order.

I never said the state did not exist. Only that the justification for its existence is largely if not entirely faith-based.
