China has already imposed sanctions on NK. All Trump is doing is provoking NK into becoming more entrenched in opposing whatever the US wants and undermining China's efforts in that respect.

"if it is forced to defend itself or its allies" is a rather open-ended statement. Since NK's nuclear testing is perceived as a threat to both the US and its allies, it could also imply that it would not require any actual nuclear strike to cross that line.

Defend is different than threat. If the NORKS attack us or an ally we will respond with overwhelming military force.

I remember once when Benson did an editorial cartoon in the Republic of Mohan as a Nazi with a snake's tongue, and Bob was so taken with it that he arranged to appear at a local battery store that sponsored his show and sign copies of it. (I still have mine.) Another time Joan Rivers was in town for a show and appeared by telephone on Bob's program to take calls. The very first caller asked her a very innocuous question about some position she was espousing and she lit into the caller in the most outrageous, nasty and undeserved way.
