Did the balless NFL drop their "two strikes and your out" from 2016

/Or is it a technicality of some kind that allowed Richard "Dick" Sherman to stay in the game after two 15 yarders in the first half? I know it was a trial rule in reaction to O'dell Beckum's incredible lack of professionalism in a game against the Redskins the year before. Did they ditch the rule after one year while the fans weren't paying attention? Or is the fact that one was after the play and one apparently during a play let him off the hook? I don't get it a guy who should be out of the game as per last rules rules as I understood them has already forced a field goal try after committing the fouls.
    Does anyone know the answer?

I'm a Seattle Seahawks season ticket holder. I'm not attending another game this season. I'm putting my tickets on the NFL ticket exchange. I'm not going to go to a game and be insulted by a bunch of pampered punks.

Thanks Dell. We were listening to it on the radio and the ref said that Sherman's second foul was after the play , which to me screams unsportsmanlike. But in fact it was during the play and a personal foul. Spitting hairs, but technically not a game suspension.
. My feelings may have been influnenced by my "deep abiding disrespect for Sherman". But I must admit the man can play. But when the refs throw the pass defense flags they should his secondary mates aren't quite so good as usual. They are thugs, often with the ball in the air. Which is part of what happened yesterday, the fouls were called.

I have long believed that when a player gets hurt and knocked out of a game on an egregious unsportsmanlike play either the comparable player position on the other team should be ejected or the opposing coach should get to pick a player to eject. That would stop the head-hunting and spearing. I have watched James Harrison target the Browns QB's directly and blatantly to the head, take a 15, get fined, knock the QB out of the game and crow about it. If the rapist Stillers QB had to also leave the game when the Browns' QB was knocked out, Tomlin would force JH to change his conduct.

...but then again, if I was playing on the Browns, 11 guys would take out the rapist on the very first play and tell him why.
