I have had the "staring" thing in public happen and it was very hard to control my upset. My Grandson was born with septo optic dysplasia and peters anomaly. Other than his eyes looking abnormal you would never know any disability exists. Some rude people stare and women have been aghast when approaching him and his mother, my daughter, in the restroom during the changing of his diaper. Others are polite and reserve reaction. Low intellect people abound in public. They have no impact on my relationship with my Grandson thankfully.
