I don't think that is a valid comparison. Manson manipulated others to kill for him. Manson would have all sorts of freaks flocking to him willing to do any nutty thing he says.

Let's see...Simpson had two goons(friends/muscle?) with him to retrieve artifacts from his career. No comparison there huh? And he got a room of his peers to find him not guilty of double homicide.. Yup no comparison there.
