NYT: Dems Face Obstacle Fighting On Dreamers

Good: Democrats own it and deserve all the abuse they get. They made illegals and their children believe they can do what they want when they want its their country.

A New York Times report Sunday claims that Democrats are facing opposition to saving DACA from many Dreamers themselves, who don’t want any compromise on border security.

The New York Times’ Michael D. Shear and Yamiche Alcindor report, “The pressure from some immigrant activists to reject any compromise that would tighten border security has frustrated Democratic leaders, who recognize the political risks of being labeled the party of open borders — a potentially lethal tag as they seek to regain support from working-class voters across the Midwest.”
“Fearful of concessions to Mr. Trump that could increase immigration enforcement aimed at their families and friends, the activists are targeting Democratic congressional leaders with loud political protests. And Democratic politicians may be vulnerable,” the article says. It later added, “But moving too far to the left on border security could hold serious risks for a party that lost the presidency with defeats in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Iowa — all states where immigration remains a hot-button issue.”
Democrat House minority leader was shouted down during a DREAM Act event by demonstrators in September. Some shouted “We undocumented youth demand a clean bill…We undocumented youth demand that you do not sell out our community and our values…We undocumented youth will not be a bargaining chip for Trump!”
Others held signs saying, “Democrats are Deporters.”

Jeff Bezos Contributes $33M to 'Dreamers' Scholarship Program
January 12, 2018 - Scholarship program TheDream. US said on Friday it had received a $33 million donation from Amazon.com Inc Chief Executive Jeff Bezos and his wife MacKenzie Bezos to fund 1,000 college scholarships.
The scholarship program will fund U.S. high school graduates with a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, an Obama-era program protecting young immigrants brought to the United States illegally by their parents — commonly known as Dreamers. U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday blasted the federal court system as "broken and unfair" after a judge blocked his administration's move to end the DACA program.

2,850 students are currently enrolled in different colleges as part of TheDream.US scholarship, which covers the cost of tuition, fees and books. Bezos' parents, Mike and Jackie Bezos, were among the early donors to TheDream.US. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Pershing Square Foundation and Chan Zuckerberg Initiative are also among the other major contributers to the program.

The Democratic Party loves them some poor, sick, and dumb illegal aliens. They prefer aliens to Americans.

The Republican Party is the American party. And President Trump is putting the needs of Americans ahead of the needs of illegal and legal immigrants. It is about time.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.
