Virus? Scam?

I just went to a website and immediately got some talking warning pop up that said a pornographic spywhere had infected my computer and not to ignore the warning or I would be shut out of the network to prevent risk to the network.

It gave a "Microsoft" # to call and I got the expected indian accent and he told me he needed remote computer access, I said "no, I don't think so" And he hung up on me. Anyone else had this happen?

No, it was not a porn site or linked to this site.

I get them calling me sometimes claiming to be from microsoft. They tell me there's an issue with my computer ( I have a Mac). I like to screw with them for a while until I finally ask them how many people fall for this $#@!.

I wish I had a way to record a call of me screwing with them and post it up! Maybe I put them on speaker phone and video it, I don't even know if my computer takes video, have to check it out.

@Common Sense What do you need to give remote access? The modem password? I'm going to get a password the next time I go to the junkyard off an old one and give them that, lead em for about a half hour with the password, A2tth no wait, no capital a followed by mumbling I can get video on my laptop and put them on speaker phone, should be a hoot!
