That was a perfectly executed hit. The call was ridiculous.

@Bethere -- I agree with Urban -- How does this happen? It was reviewed upstairs -- how does this happen?

Imagine if it were a competitive game.

I remember the bengal steeler playoff game. My bengals got three letters of apology from the nfl for calls made in the last 2 minutes. Of course Pittsburgh got to move on to the next round.

The concussion issue, while serious, is causing people to overreact.

With this particular hit, the targeting call was inexplicable especially after a review. In fact, he delivered the hit exactly like they are told to in order to avoid the penalty.

The days of having old overweight and slow official should be over. They need to have the physical ability to keep up with the speed of the modern game. Games each week are being decided and ruined by poor officiating. Sometimes that poor officiating is a result of bias and sometimes it's just human error

The Steelers have been the beneficiary of some of the most poorly officiated playoff and or championship games in NFL history.

A kid I know played one year in the nfl, started all year as a rookie, and then gave back 2/3 of his signing bonus and retired.

    That told me a lot.

He didn't retire, he quit. I've heard of others doing that.
