    I don't care about your family but FDR was elected FOUR times by Americans who loved him. It was republicans who lobbied to change constitution to prevent other popular presidents to run more than twice otherwise Obama would still be President.

    My parents and older siblings lived through the Great Depression. My father didn't get regular work until the War started in Europe. That ended the Depression. Roosevelt had nothing to do with it.

    He did do great things. He gave the country hope. He put many unemployed to work on projects that still are in use. He didn't give money away. No work, no money. He set up a help for the elderly so they didn't have to work until death.
