    Local news sub-forum

What did we need a sub-forum for?

It's kind of clunky. Having a local news forum IMO is fine but putting it by itself on an extension makes it clunky.

The aim is to put a personal spin on politics and stuff. It was interesting during Harvey and Irma how people came together on a local issue/crisis. This erasing history by renaming schools and taking down statues is kind of abstract but when you see high schoolers upset about it, it comes home as some really idiotic: See Students At Robert E. Lee High School Freak Out After Slight Name Change: "Robert E. Lee high school, named after the Confederate commander in the Civil War, was renamed Legacy of Educational Excellence High School (LEE HS)." WTF.

You missed the crux of my comment, why not just put it with the other forums and not in a sub-forum by itself?

Using a sub-forum for a single form kind of makes it look like one hair on a nutsack.

Oh, that, yea, it's kind of hidden.
