People love to be strict absolutists on the 2nd. They love to quote the second and specifically "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

I don't see anything in there about selling. Keep, yes. Bear, yes. Sell, no.

Right, but if you had bothered to read the thread, you'd see how restricting gun sales restricts the right to keep and bear arms.

It's not like the Democrat nominee for president wanted to ban "assault weapons", hold gun manufacturers liable for what people do with their products, and use a secretive government "watch list" to strip Americans of a right that most Democrats tell us doesn't even exist.
