I never said they were "new", I said that the commercialization and commodification of human sexuality is unnatural.
People have been being deviant for most of human history, that's nothing new. Slavery is ancient as well.

Those are just nifty legal neologisms which distract from the simple truth.
The simple truth is that attempts to commercialize and commodify human sexuality are deviant by nature and are born from the same mindset as that which rationalizes rape.
