Allow me. Comic books aren't meant as an account of something real. Mind you, that's not to say the bible is fact but the intent behind the two is so clear only an idiot would ask such a question.

You seem to have forgotten it. You asked for opinions and I gave you one. You stated the writers were fanatics but you weren't there either. Why is you opinion to be taken as fact?
