    Doesn't seem to be that way in California in the SF bay area.

    Look for the map of black majority cities and towns in the US. It largely mirrors that blue swath through the south

    Yeah, hate to burst your bubble but the blue portion of NJ isn't what's paying. Even NJ, a 'blue' state is still geographically mostly red and trust me, we're the schmucks paying.
