    No.

    It is used two ways.

    1. To describe today's youth who claim they are unique.

    2. To describe leftists protesters who spout inanities as if they were facts.

Snowflake is a term thrown around by rightists to describe people (mostly college students) they feel are weak. Think for a moment about the implications of applying that in a specifically gendered way. Are women not already commonly stereotyped as "the weaker sex"? Could this be the real reason why the term exists? To reinforce that lame age-old stereotype? And of course (to again highlight the disproportionate emphasis on college students) to lament the fact that the college campus of today is majority female, unlike in the glorious past when America was great and women knew their place and were rarely even allowed on campus?

So what do you think? What percentage of the time do you see "snowflake" used to describe men? I think it's very, very low. I think it's a gendered insult that's becoming comparable to ice queen, $#@!, $#@!, $#@!, ****, and prude.

^^That is what our colleges are doing. Worse, they're turning out teachers like that who are teaching high school now.

No. It's meant for people who who get irrationally upset over speech that challenges their beliefs. It has nothing to do with gender.

Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Doesn't look like it Don Quixote. She just posted a comment.

Whether it is or not according to some snowflake's solipsistic definition isn't going to stop anyone from using it.

For what it's worth, an aberrant obsession with policing people's language along with a paranoid notion that "racism/Satanism/(insert evil of choice here), etc" is somehow inherent in everything is a sign of a cult.

No, Polly, everything isn't about women. That's just your paranoia.

By the way, you are a snowflake.
