The most admirable trait in men for many women is a huge.... bank account.

My wife is a strong woman and I find her quite attractive, I do not find masculine women attractive at all.

Threads like this make me feel like poor Mulan: pressured in this quarter to act superficially feminine and in that quarter to be superficially masculine and never really able to just be one's self and have that be okay with people.

Men and women are different. And each project their strengths in different ways.

It all depends. The punk lady in post #8 might be considered attractive within punk culture or to femme lesbians, for example.

Granted that the one in post #13 might have a tougher time.

The guy I'm with is a highly intelligent, gentlemanly type who idolizes characters like Sherlock Holmes, not a lazy, self-obsessed, domineering kind of guy who plunks himself down on the couch and barks out demands for another beer and brutalizes me when he's done. You know what, I'm fine with that, wherever it fits him on the masculinity ladder.

Your guy sounds great. Most men are somewhere between the extremes you mentioned, and THOSE are the ones we women seek.
