On the field they aren't thinking about the anthem issue.

Years ago, some players were choreographing their celebration dances. That's not the issue when they underperform. Many of them are still very immature young men. They also tend to mature more slowly than most because they are coddled. They aren't forced to grow up by being thrown into the real world.

Based on his personality, one would guess that he is a defensive oriented coach, but that is not the case.
Yeah, he wasn't a defensive guy at all - at least in Pittsburgh, other than great at getting the opposing defense off the field.

He pretty much got ran out of town. The guy alienated the franchise player (Ben) and ran this... odd offense with an iron fist. Glad he's not here anymore.

He's never been a defensive guy. He's always concentrated on offense.

I'm sure it doesn't take much to alienate yourself from Ben Roethlesburger. He's always been kind of a punk. Coaching isn't a popularity contest.

Teams threatening to leave unless the taxpayers foot the bill for their new billion dollar stadium is a form of extortion. The NFL makes enough money to build their own venues.

I'm actually shocked that you would put the blame on the city and the taxpayers.

I have many connections in San Diego and I ca tell you they are down on the Chargers now and rightfully so.
Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I digress....

I don't blame them. The NFL uses extortion tactics and then blames the fans for not bending over and grabbing their ankles.

If the NFL was struggling to survive financially it might be different, but they are not struggling at all.

I'm more of a college football fan anyway. The atmosphere at a major college game is far superior to any NFL game.

They were down on the Chargers for the last several years. The fans abandoned the Chargers and allowed their home stadium to become the enemy’s playground. When the Chargers decided to move to potentially more favorable ground, suddenly the fans wanted to $#@! and moan and burn their Chargers gear.

The Chargers by far have the worst and most disloyal fan base in major sports.

When Chargers fans turn their team’s stadium into an away stadium for the Chargers every game the fans lose the right to be pissed when the Chargers move.

I went to the Browns game Sunday against the Titans. UGLY. Bigly Ugly. There is no hope. None.

Don’t feel bad, that was just as ugly for us as it was for you. I’ll take a W any day but that was an ugly one.
