Who are your fave members here, and why?

Who are your fave members here, and why? I don't just mean members who agree with you on everything, but also people who might hold totally opposite views on some things, but whom you consider to be fair and reasonable and polite, and to make good posts which make you think. And tell us why you like their posts.
Oh, I wish I were a glow worm,
for a glow worm's never glum,
'cause how can you be grumpy
when the sun shines out your bum!

Lol, thanks - but I wasn't on a fishing expedition.

But now you come to mention it - both you and Peter are peeps who often don't agree with me but are always polite and respectful (even to someone like me,) and make posts which make me think about stuff. So you are both on my list. There are loads of others, but I will leave them for another post.

I suffer no delusions about myself. I like to think I tell it like it is and wont hesitate to go off the PC rails.

I think you are a good guy, and while we may not agree on everything - I like you. But, with respect, this thread is not about ourselves - but why we value and like other posters.

TIC LOL my favorite poster is me, ah come on, do you really mean it, oh I do, you are the best, thanks so much.

"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." George Bernard Shaw

Now serious, I like any poster who can teach you something or challenge you to rethink or explore. Read read read. Oh and anyone who makes me laugh....

"Writing and reading decrease our sense of isolation. They deepen and widen and expand our sense of life: they feed the soul. When writers make us shake our heads with the exactness of their prose and their truths, and even make us laugh about ourselves or life, our buoyancy is restored. We are given a shot at dancing with, or at least clapping along with, the absurdity of life, instead of being squashed by it over and over again. It’s like singing on a boat during a terrible storm at sea. You can’t stop the raging storm, but singing can change the hearts and spirits of the people who are together on that ship.” Anne Lamott
Wanna make America great, buy American owned, made in the USA, we do. AF Veteran, INFJ-A, I am not PC.

"I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it." Voltaire
