How about 24, 34, 44 or 54 year old women. They never thought to bring it up when he was a judge in the news?

I don't know, I would think all she has to say is one word to a teacher, police officer, parent etc. You know my opinion -- if committed a crime, face justice. I am troubled by the delay though.

Even women of those ages often fear reporting sexual assault. Can you think what’s going on in the mind of a 14 year old girl?

i mean, maybe she did say something. How far would her claim go beyond a family facing the shame and fear of challenging an accuser? In the atmosphere of the Alabama political system?

Moore wasn't a "powerful politician" at that time, he was an asst. DA. At that time in Gadsden AL the only powerful people were a few rich families.I lived there from 1966 till Oct. 1985. Started the 7th grade and thru first 12 years of my marriage.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

It happened in 1979, this is 2017, there was no opportunity, during all those years in-between, to say something to someone, anyone? A friend, her parents, a teacher, a police officer.....?

If she had wanted this guy punished, she should have spoken up, to SOMEONE, way before now, since there's the statute of limitations.....I can't help feeling, she's speaking up now, to add her name to the, 'me too, ' list.

Why now, are all these women accusing prominent figures of sexual assault.....30-40 years later?!
It was a threshold. The dam has broken.

That's quite possible. Most of these situations are going to be he said she said.
