I could help, I like risky things with fire! I had an idea, get about 5 pounds of molten lead, hang a water balloon, a few ft over the top and shoot the water balloon with a pellet rifle from 100ft!

Seriously, I have the good sense to know when a $#@!amamie idea, needs to remain an idea!

Order in AZ. I'm sure there are turkey or ham dinners available for delivery. I'm sorry your wife is in such crippling pain.

Thanks DW! Yes, you spend your life working to live then comes the "golden years" and you are struck with the perils of longevity.

That ends up being a lot of turkey for two people. Perhaps if you have some relatives who are interested, provide the turkey, oil and means of deep frying (usually a rather large pot and heat source outdoors) and let the young ones do the heavy lifting. Personally, I prefer a smoked turkey and the leftovers are amazing.

Theres a group of 30 of us that have reserved one of the rooms in a golf resort. We do it every year for the last few years. It beats having the wives cook for house dinners, after all they all created thanksgiving for decades for the family.

Yes, we do both if enough of the families can get together.

    This year it's 6 families, 22 confirmed, 8-12 unconfirmed.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.
