Sounds like a calculated attack, does not MN have a large Somali, immigrant population?

That mall's name also comes up as a terrorist potential target often because of its size and name

As a collector of automatic knives (switchblades) I can own any ones I choose, I just can't use them in public (although I do) If a blade is 2 inches or less, that is "California legal" and legal almost everywhere in the country AFAIK. To carry the larger auto's you must be military, law enforcement, government agent etc... hope this helps.

For what purpose, would people need to carry a switchblade, or, any knife, around with them?

My knife doubles as a money clip. I use it daily to open letters, Amazon deliveries and those plastic sealed glass beverages, etc.
