Former Vice President Joe Biden appeared on NBC’s "Today" on Monday where he said the hero who shot the Texas church gunman should not have had the weapon he used to stop the murder spree.

Biden's remark came as a response to a question from someone in the audience who asked him to justify the Democrat’s call for more gun control — even though the shooter was stopped by a good guy with a gun.

A forthcoming book that claims to give a behind-the-scenes look at the people the Secret Service protects reportedly airs some tantalizing details about Vice President Biden's swimming habits.
According to a New York Daily News account of the book, Secret Service agents say Biden likes to swim nude -- to the chagrin of some in his detail.
"Agents say that, whether at the vice president's residence or at his home in Delaware, Biden has a habit of swimming in his pool nude," journalist and author Ronald Kessler reportedly writes in "The First Family Detail," due to come out next week. "Female Secret Service agents find that offensive."

I don't disagree he may be a good man, but he's not fit to be a President. Swimming nude in front of staff is normally frowned upon, I would think.

He's just another politician that has helped bring this country to it's knees via bad trade deals and $20 trillion in debt. I really don't understand why people (not you specifically, Jim. Just in general) insist we need to elect individuals that have no clue on how to balance a budget, for starters. In addition, we are witnessing a President who is running circles around Congress in regards to the work they have been tasked to do, and all they seem interested in is passing something, anything, asap so they can leave for holiday "recess." I promise Trump has no intention of sitting back during the holiday season.

He is old as dirt. I think I read somewhere that the Y used to only allow males to swim naked in their pool. He is probably of that generation. Biden won't run and if he did he wouldn't win. He would be like 77/78 or so.

I have no ill will against Biden, but I couldn't vote for him if he was the Democratic nominee in 2020. It would be another third party year for me. Establishment Democrats endorsed by the Clintons and their loyalists are unacceptable.

Good point. IMO, we should begin teaching young adults about guns and gun safety, and the ability to defend themselves if needed. Perhaps a required semester of some type of self-defense course....just thinking out loud here.
The difference between the man in Texas and others that are faced with a dangerous situation, is that he had extensive training via the NRA and was an instructor himself.

We have to begin dealing with gun violence at the core of the issue: taking away people's guns will only serve to disarm law abiding citizens.
