The Navy’s Triple-Carrier Pacific Deployment Was an Accident, Not a Power Play

A fun read, although have a hard time believing this was an accident.

The greatest concentration of American naval power in a decade is an accident of scheduling and navigation, according to the U.S. Navy.

But the coincidental convergence of three nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and their warplanes and escort ships on the Pacific Ocean in early November lends military heft to President Donald Trump’s escalating war of words with North Korea.


The carriers USS Ronald Reagan, USS Nimitz, and USS Theodore Roosevelt, plus their nearly 200 warplanes and roughly 20 escorting cruisers, destroyers, and submarines, are due to converge in the Western Pacific on Nov. 11 for a three-day war game.


The last time three American flattops met was in 2007.

When a sniper misses by a whole adult and a baby, when guns being used in a sting are "lost", when they burn alive the kids they are supposedly there to "save," when they invade a country with no just reason and occupy it with no hint of an understanding of cultural anthopology or human nature.
It's ALWAYS the "ah shucks , we're just Barney Fife incompetent" excuse.
It's time to call them on it. If they are right in this case for example, someone is in charge of floating death machines that definitely shouldn't be.
To call the government on it's own bull$#@! we have o pretend to accept their excuse and say. "That''s staggeringly incompetent for the level we are talking about , how are you going to fix it? And what authority will be curtailed in the meantime? We'll revisit this as voters in November.

This from an I take it all for granted, I own numerous mega-corp products while I thine about them, and I've the historical perspective of a common housefly, donttread.

We explain that a massive deployment of ships in close proximity is a mistake in that we don't appear belligerent or aggressive. Peter even making the point he doesn't believe the geopolitical gamesmanship here, it isn't incompetence, it's geopolitics. But give you an opportunity to come in and spray your shiit and government and corporate and hatred for your nation across the board. You're old, tired, and wrong.....but you're entertaining.
