What a moron. He should be removed and charged with abuse of power. You can't even tell she makes contact with him, he doesn't even budge. Maybe he shouldn't be so rude and stand right in the way of the flow of traffic.

According to the news reports, Mr. Ahmed made an official complaint claiming that he was holding files and nearly knocked over.

The video "conclusively" establishes that Mr. Ahmed was neither holding files nor nearly knocked over. Falsification of police reports or other official complaints is criminal conduct.

In the words of the famous legal scholar Desi Arnaz Jr., Mr. Ahmed has got "a lot of 'splainin' to do". An immediate retraction and public apology might save his job (I was overworked, I was overstressed, I behaved badly, I apologize, it won't ever happen again), avoid possible criminal prosecution (he who lives by the sword dies by the sword; decision makers will be hard-pressed to forget that he tried to have her criminally charged) and an ethics complaint (this may be the hardest of all if the local bar association and judges decide that he's a problem).

Young lawyers - pay attention to Mr. Ahmed's conduct and avoid it (no matter the outcome of his case). The firm lives and dies by the reputation of its lawyers.
